About this 3D model

Tread-Bot is the first in my line of Bot Shoppe robots. This line of robots combines organic forms with mechanical shapes to create interesting robots to play with or display. They were originally designed to be board-game pieces, but they display nicely without any true purpose other than to be nice to look at and play with. This is an updated version of my original Tread Bot 1. This version has some detail added, as well as some parts split out so you can print them in multiple colors. The head now has the two eye lenses separate. The treads now have inner tread runners, as well as extra wheels and an engine housing inside. The body is separated from the base. The connecting tube from the base to the body is louvered a bit. The tread droops a bit on the top bit. The shoulder ball joint fits better. You can still rotate the arm to almost any pose for gluing. I used Super Glue to glue it all together. NOTE: I did put the two eyes and the neck together as one object. This is because, whether it be due to a faulty STL exporter, or some other reason, when I exported either of these three by itself, it exploded in size by some unknown factor. Putting them together solved the issue.
