About this 3D model

This is a printer I designed back in 2011 (I was 18 at the time). It uses Linistepper motor drives and Mach3 to control everything. I designed everything in solidworks but I over estimated the forces involved which resulted in what is probably the most unnecessarily substantial printer ever made. A nice side effect of this how ever is being able to print up to 200mm/s with out any noticeable loss in finish. This is in part due to the H belt configuration which removes the weight of the x axis motor from the carriage. I havent posted the files as all the parts were designed to be machined and im sure most of you dont have that capability and there are many things i would change if I were to do it again. So my intentions were for this to be used more as design inspiration than anything else. Ive left out heaps if info so please post a comment if you would like some more info
