About this 3D model

I designed a nikon to orion telescope adaptor in the sprit of the perseid meteor shower. The latest version is working great. It press-fits over the eyepiece and now has an extended shaft for better focusing. This design is rugged, stable, & the adapter locks into place with a satisfying click. Also attached is a Rhino version of the file of you want access to a nurbs based version of the CAD. Fixes in the latest revision: -Widened barrel to press fit over the telescope eyepiece -Extended barrel for proper focusing -Cutout on the edge to help align the adapter to the body -Chamfer replaces the support material
