About this 3D model
I decided I needed a new shift knob, here it is. I printed it at high infill. It's ended up being way to big. I went to resize it, but the pips used the edges for reference and they moved all over the place. I decided to enlarge the mounting hole and then reduced the size in print. It worked out well I think. I was worried about it holding up to the heat in the summer in SoCal. But so far, no problems. 12/24/2016 Update: 2 1/2 years later and still no problems. It's discolored a bit and the acetone vapor smoothing shell has crazed as seen in the lastest picture, it actually looks antiqued now which fits well in my '61 pickup truck.
