About this 3D model

In an effort to compete with and try to consolidate all the mobile phone stand designs out there in Thingiverse - the challenge was to make a 'one stand does all' unit - and 'keep it simple'. After much head scratching and the clear disadvantage of owning what is probably the largest mobile phone on the market today (Galaxy 2 Note) I decided to make it BIG! (but not too big!). By about version 3 a plan had formed - why restrict it's use to just ONE MOBILE PHONE? - so I made one big enough for 2 large phones or 3 mediums. Pop this rack in your kitchen/lounge/bedroom and when everyone (or anyone) returns home this is the perfect storage media for the mobile(s) and other bits (eg. letters that need attention etc.). Will even cope with my Google Nexus 7 tablet at a pinch! It also has some interesting additional uses - only a couple of which are shown in the gallery photos :-) the other uses are up to you really. Anyway, enjoy - nice item to try a 'dual colour' print with - for single extruder owners, pause at the point of printing the 'vertical fingers' and change the filament colour - different base and support finger colours - nice!
