About this 3D model

Posted are STL files from a laser scan of orginal Vickers Viscount 700 Series aircraft reading lamps. These files can be used to create a complete and EXACT replica of the reading lamps. I have a Sideshow Collectables Life Sized R2-D2 that has broken lamps after it's first trip to Makerfaire. I used a Makerbot Replicator 2 to prototype a set of replacement lamps. I'm now having a set of replicas made out of original materials and using orginal manufacturing process fabricated to replace the damaged lamps. Enjoy!
