About this 3D model

Platonic solids, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platonic_solid, are beautiful objects because of their symmetry and simplicity. Combining wood and 3d printed connectors makes it easy to create these polyhedrons yourself!I printed the full set of 5 for a school in India. They now use them for the advanced geometry classes and as a decoration in the math classroom.
