About this 3D model

Update : I have redesigned an interlocking variant : http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7857 This is designed for lamps where the light-bulb is inside a polyhedral shell. This is a derivative of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6055. The hinged piece has been mirrored, and pieces to cover the socket have been added. The covering pictured is built up out of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6281 these elements. It took me some time to build a permanent light socket for this design. The biggest pitfall is that the light-bulb is difficult to replace. Perhaps future designs will correct this shortcoming. A threaded or slotted design, perhaps ?
