About this 3D model
I had already done a 2D drawing of my dog Leia (I'm not really as obsessed as I seem with my dog, she's just always around,) so when I was trying to teach myself Blender, she seemed like the best candidate, so here she is. She came out a bit more muscular on the front than she really is but if I made it in white it would be a fair likeness. I had four or five attempts at making the model on the ABP, but at about 23mm in height it would always get knocked out of place. So I gave up and went back to the non heated acrylic surface and used the Standard Skeinforge Gcode generator and here she is. I was concerned that the ears and the chest might have problems because of lack of support but they fared OK. I ended up with lots of extra strings between the legs and the body, I guess there is a way to cut down on those. In the end they cleaned up pretty well and they provided some support during the build.
