About this 3D model

Derivative of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5702 with arm raised. I burned the thumbs a little because I'm going to use this as a trophy for a gaming tournament. I may just paint it though... I need help deciding on this or just spray painting it gold. If you won it which would you rather have?
