About this 3D model

This is my first attempt to use the GTL library for python to generate a printable 3D object. This script reads a GIF file, and converts the grayscale luminosity to a height-map, and then produces an embossed plaque suitable for printing on MakerBot. This script needs a lot of work, but might be a good starting point for other developers.
