About this 3D model

Little bracket for my rickety wood shelf. You will need 4 items per plateau. I really hope that it will be useful for you! Kind regards, Djamanbe ;D PS: This project can still be improved even if I consider that my "v3" version is stable now ("work-in-progress" status ~> closed ;D). PPS: After 12 years and more than 15'000 downloads (:O) I've uploaded a new STL version with 2 fillets done in FreeCAD. Enjoy! ;D ------------- limit of the conciseness ------------- PPPS: To let you know, I have: - bought adequate screws at "Castorama" (french DIY shop) and measured them, - re-measured my shelf to be sure, - designed my bracket on OpenSCAD, - exported the file in ascii .stl, - converted it to a binary .stl thanks to a Ruby script provided by ByteMuse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39655), - checked that on MeshLab, - uploaded everything here, - added a reinforcement in the corner (next day), - reprocessed the whole loop to provide a "v2" version, - printed 2 items at "La fabrique du quotidien" (http://la-fabrique-du-quotidien.org/) in an ugly flashy color (but that was for a test! ;D). The design was Ok but the holes were a bit too small and the body needed to be scaled up (25x15x15 ~> 30x16x20), - reworked (next day) "a lot" my OpenSCAD file to make it "parametric" (play with the "parameters to tune" to see), - reprocessed the whole loop to provide a "v3" version, - reprinted (next week) 4 new items at "La fabrique du quotidien" in a transparent color, - fixed the brackets at home, - considered finally that the design is good (Ouf! ;D).
