About this 3D model

To mark the 60th Anniversary of the launch of Sputnik 1, I created this model to hang up at our local hackspace. It's not overly accurate, based on photos only, and simplified for 3D prints. Roughly at 1:10 scale. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sputnik_1 Simply print the 2 body parts and 4 of the antennas and glue together. The antenna are fiddly, but that was part of the design challenge. ***UPDATE 7/OCT/2017 Added the model as a solid for printing with non-FDM printers. Added STEP, IGES, F3D files.
