About this 3D model

This is an ultrasound probe stabilizer for use with a wall-mounted transducer storage rack, such as this one: http://www.civco.com/mmi/ultrasound/accessories/soaking-storage/PID5311.htm . The plastic probe stabilizer that goes with this setup is sold separately and is ridiculously expensive. So I designed this for our department. Please note that the designs that I am sharing DO NOT have the name of our institution embossed on them, as is shown in the photos. The piece is designed in two parts which are meant to be glued together. The base uses a 1/2 inch 8-32 bolt and nut to attach it to the transducer rack. I have designed two versions of the top part, one with plain walls, and one with an embedded Voronoi pattern, which saves a little on plastic. This item was created in TinkerCAD.
