About this 3D model

This is my project for the "Mars Challenge", it represents a modular colony composed by: - Greenhous: Where the basic flora is cultivated for the human relief. On the roof is placed a wind-generator, particularly huge due to the refined martian atmosphere. The wind generator can spin around following the wind direction. - Power Plant: It transforms the solar energy into electrical energy using a huge solar panel that can spin around following the sunlight. It is also the living room of the station. -Housing: A structure where settlers live and communicate with Earth. -Lab: For the researches on the surface. Equipped with a telescope able to turn into a laser to destroy incoming meteorites. -Terraforming Post: Used to transform the local atmosphere into terrestrial. By drills it can pick-up raw material designed for lab or foundry. -Foundry: where raw material is turned into spare parts or new modules. -Transport: Mobile module equipped with catterpillars. It joins the modules and can also relocate them. It is also used as a rover.
