Kris (Ngoko Javanese: keris) - is an asymmetrical dagger with distinctive blade patterning. While most strongly associated with the culture of Indonesia the Kris is also indigenous to Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and Singapore. There are several different types of Kris.
