About this 3D model

The 76.2 mm ZiS-3 was the standard divisional gun of the Red Army during World War II and is considered one of the most successful artillery designs of the 20th century. Officially introduced in 1942, this gun represented the culmination of the Soviet doctrine of simplicity, mass production and combat reliability. Developed by the ZiS design bureau under the direction of Vasili Grabin, the ZiS-3 combined the tube of an antitank gun with the light gun carriage of a howitzer, achieving a versatile weapon capable of fulfilling multiple roles on the battlefield: direct infantry support, medium-range artillery fire and antitank combat.
