About this 3D model
Comgrow T500 Hotend Extruder is a bit of a disaster. I designed a complete new setup using Orbitor2 and E3D Revo hotend setup. I have been using this combination for a few years now and found i to be rock solid on commercial use printers. This also is much, much easier and I think cheaper than the Stealth Burner option. Orbitor2 or Orbitor2.5 They are the same, the 2.5 being a bit better. (The Orbitor1.5 is different and not compatible... if you want to use a 1.5 then contact me and I can chat about modding my design) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007445074882.html? E3D Revo Six Make sure you get 24v Heater. https://e3d-online.com/products/revo-six-coldside-kits https://e3d-online.com/products/revo-high-flow-packs High Flow Pack is advisable to print at higher speeds. The STD Revo setup with 60watt heater does work with STD Brass nozzle but you may hit you may hit the flow limit. I used M3 x3 and M3 x4 Melt in threads (7 in total) Various M3 normal Caphead and Countersunk screw. I reused the original T500: Breakout Board Probe 4020 Barrel Fan Filament Sensor LED Light Joined to the Original Wires: Extruder Motor 40x10 24v Cooling Fan Heat and Thermistor Wires (use the supplied E3D Leads so you can unplug the E3D Hotend for replacement see image) The Klipper firmware needs to be adjusted for the Probe offset and Thermistor Type. and the PID need to re done for the hotend. I have attached a zip file with all the changes needed to update Klipper, plus a few changes to make the system work a little better. I have attached a zip file for the OrcaSlicer settings and a Start and End script. Also attached are other Mod files for the Filament Run Out Switch and Filament Roll Holder... these can be bought separately but if you buy this complete Mod it's included free.
