The only reason to have this object, is to admire its interesting and simple aesthetic.The intriguing geometrical properties of a five sided 'diamond' shape allow for it to be made into a spherical approximation.The fallthrough hole in the base of the object is the shape of one of the faces in order to allow this to be placed flat on a surface for display, or a post could be made for it to go on top of in a way that the intersection doesn't allow for rotation. Note, removing the support material from the fallthrough hole with FDM printing is somewhat tricky - it is not neccessary if you are finding it too difficult Volume: 4700mm^3
