I've created this engine shim for first-generation UAR 501 owners who have probably noticed that the engine cage moves a lot, even when the fixing screws are tightened to the maximum. We all agree that it would be a shame to risk damaging our sprockets because of this problem. There is a mounting direction: the rounded edges must be placed on the motor side. You'll also notice that the cage has two flats, resulting in extrusions on one side of the part. Installation may require a little force due to the slightly greater thickness at the screw passages, but once in place, the part fits perfectly. Now your UAR 501 motor is securely seated and you can avoid any problems associated with excessive cage movement.
