About this 3D model

Nothing new really but it can be a handy technique if you need support and the one offered by your slicing software isn´t good enough. A cylinder is quite a good example i think, i´ve tried many different ways (ok, standing it up doesn´t count in this case) but it always come out rather useless. Of course you can add this technique to lot´s of other shapes aswell, it´s just an example.
