About this 3D model

In tabletop historical gaming, line-of-sight blockers and both soft and hard cover are essential for creating a realistic, competitive game. In Bolt Action Version 3, this is even more important because many small arms have increased range. I designed this wall set with simplicity in mind. Rather than creating STL files for dioramas, I design them for gamers. I also avoided complicated interlocking features, so each piece can fit snugly against another to form a visually seamless wall system. Although this set is painted to fit a Middle East themed table, by painting it in grey tones, it would work equally well in an European, industrial themed terrain. The set consists of the basic wall section, four different damaged wall sections, each allowing an entrance / firing position, a gated section, with gates both for FDM printing (detailed only one side), and a resin printing (with both sides finely detailed). Finally, there are three different half sections. The long wall sections are 113mm long, and approx. 40mm high, but can be scaled up or down as required for your needs. All stls can be printed in FDM without supports. These are suitable for both resin and FDM printing. The models in the pictured test prints were all FDM prints. There are files included for both FDM and resin printing FDM printing without supports should be doable for FDM printing. Please note the pre-supported files for gate doors may not be ideal for your printer, resin, or settings. They are provided as a courtesy only, and while they worked well for me, your results may vary. Always clean support material away carefully and test fit before gluing.
