About this 3D model
Lightweight hinge for connecting two 2020 aluminum extrusions. Designed to fit within the 20mm corner cube. It isn't designed to be load bearing, but should be strong enough to hold the extrusions its attached to. I would try 910 Nylon if you need it to support more weight. There are multiple angles, but I've only tested the 100° version. Print two matching pieces to make a connector. Parts: 3 - M5x20 Countersunk Socket Screw - the ones that screw into the ends of the tapped aluminum extrusion can be much shorter 2 - M5 Washers - these are inserted from the outside 1 - M5 Locknut - it's easier to tighten if you put the nylon side inside 3 - 8mmx1mm Spacers 2 - 5x10x4 Bearings* - the stack of bearings and spacers goes inside Printer: -- Eustathios Filaments: (full list can be found on thrinter) -- Atomic Filament Transparent Orange PLA *affiliate link
