A railing for toddlers to hold whilst climbing the stairs. Designed for 3/4" wooden dowels (oak for strength), mount with 2" screws into studs. The rails protrude just slightly over 1.5". The anchors have dowels on two levels, to provide visual interest, and to link separate rails together. The toothed linkage makes it pretty easy to find an angle that will let the rails overlap but still mount into a stud.
