Keep yourself cool this summer with this 3D printed desk fan! If you have a BBC Micro:bit, you can place it into the slot on the base, and use one of the codes below to use it as a thermometer. If your DC motor pin is a different size, adjust this accordingly. Download the STL files from this page and get printing! I have used crocodile clips, but for a permenant fan soldering the wiring to the motor might be better. You can also connect the Micro:bit and the fan to the same battery pack, I didn't do this because I only had 2 crocodile clips. You will need:1 x 3D printer + Filament1 x BBC Micro:bit1 x JST connector to battery pack1 x AAA battery holder4 x AAA batteries4 x wires1 x DC motor I am looking to try and make this a Micro:bit controlled fan.
