About this 3D model

As an Architect + Designer, I spend most of my day drawing / sketching / writing. The BIC Pen; one of the basic tools for many hobbies and professions; as perfect as it is, has a major flaw. Due to its' small diameter and hexagonal shape it becomes uncomfortable after using it for a while and might cause writer's callus to your fingers if you use it for too long. Also, individuals tend to hold the pens in different ways, but after some research I found out that they can be grouped in two major categories. With all this in mind, I worked on improving this basic tool by designing/printing/testing different shapes and sizes. The result is a comfortable and practical grip that works for everyone and almost any generic pen/pencil. The extra weight makes it so you don't need to apply a lot of pressure while writing / sketching.. A trully relaxing experience. Just print it, pop your favorite Pen or Pencil in and bring enjoy sketching and writing comfortably!
