About this 3D model
The Barracks stood tall over Old Town, a constant reminder of the Chieftain's authority. Little was hidden in the streets from those standing watch atop its tower. The Chieftain keeps a steady supply of warriors trained and ready to fight as tensions rise in Hagglethorn Hollow. When the rebellion starts, the warriors trained in the Barracks will be at its core. Best to know whose side they're on before you knock. Generations later, the Barracks still stands. Mostly. The watch tower has come down, the training yard is choked with weeds, and the warriors who once drilled here are long gone. The Barracks is a ruin now, a broken vantage point for whoever holds Old Town next, and a grim reminder of how quickly authority crumbles in the Hollow. Hagglethorn Hollow is a township built over the ruins of buildings that were built over the ruins of other buildings. The Barracks has stood watch over more than one fall. Bring Johnny Fraser-Allen's hand-crafted world of Hagglethorn Hollow to your tabletop. This print-ready STL set is part of the official Hagglethorn Hollow building line, hand-drawn, physically sculpted, and digitally scanned at the highest resolution by Johnny himself. No AI involvement at any stage of the design or sculpt. Every shingle, beam, and stone is the work of human hands. This bundle includes two complete versions: The Barracks (intact) 11.6"H x 7.1"L x 6.1"W (29.5cm x 15.5cm x 18cm) Two components, two internal play areas. Lift the roof to reveal the watch level, pull the upper section to expose the ground floor, and pose your warriors at the windows, on the walls, or marching out the front door. The Barracks (ruined) The same building, generations later. Tower fallen, walls breached, story unfinished. Fully compatible footprint with the intact version for timeline-jumping campaigns, swampland encounters, and "what happened here?" scenarios. The broken upper structure creates natural firing positions for archers and ambushers. Crafted for modular play, the Barracks connects seamlessly with the rest of the Hagglethorn Hollow building line, including the Chieftain's Hall, Longhouse, Homestead, and the other Old Town buildings, to populate a full village. Use it as a roleplaying centerpiece, a wargaming objective, or a display piece on a shelf. Because every model was scanned at the highest resolution we could capture, these files scale cleanly from 28mm tabletop pieces up to oversized centerpieces, desk decor, or weatherproof garden ornaments. Three print options are included for each Barracks: Cut and Supported: the recommended version, cut and pre-supported for printers with a print bed of 200mm x 200mmSmall Printer folder: pieces cut for smaller printers with a print bed of 120mm x 120mmWithout Supports folder: an uncut, unsupported version for larger format printers and clean scalingFiles included: Hagglethorn-Barracks cut and supported pieces (intact, 200mm)Hagglethorn-Barracks small printer cuts (intact, 120mm)Hagglethorn-Barracks uncut, unsupported version (intact)Ruined-Barracks cut and supported pieces (200mm)Ruined-Barracks small printer cuts (120mm)Ruined-Barracks uncut, unsupported versionSuggested print orientation reference (.PDF)
