This elaborately sculpted lion head is one of two identical pieces which decorates the doors of the former National Provincial Bank at 7 Water Street, Liverpool. The building, now a business centre, debates the dates as to when it was built; the current occupiers argue 1895 though the date on the doors of the building state 1934, hence a Grade II Listing.
