About this 3D model

Came across this competition on my twitter feed this morning. Today is this last day, so I figured I'd take the challenge. I know very little about this character; however, the game looks pretty cool. Currently, it is only printed in halves, but I do plan on slicing it for a full sized print soon. Everything is solid, and I believe anything can be printed with the right supports, slicing, and patience. The pictures are renders of the model and the 3D printed and painted model. If anyone knows this character and weapon name, it would be extremly helpful because I was unable to find any other images of it, so I had to guess as to what the other end of the weapon looked like.
