Quickly turn the Nintendo switch controller into a self-defence tool. just kidding. I was looking at the new Nintendo switch's controllers called joy con, and noticed they were the right size and that the connector was easily recreated. although the original uses metal, I found PLA to be plenty strong. While testing the fit, I decided to add some features to it and ended up with brass knuckles desk type joy con. I printed this at 0.1 mm layer height with support material activating at 60 degrees. Also, I would suggest putting the connecting rail on the Z axis. you do not want support material in the channel for the connection of the joy con.
