About this 3D model
This was a quick design I knocked up to make a very low profile stand that I could use in the standard nintendo switch travel case. Something thin but a bit more substancial than the built in kick stand that would also allow for charging in use and make the device lay a little flatter for close tabletop use on plaes for example. The black one pictured is the first version printed on an Objet 30 pro. But I have since redesigned numerous times for different application (45 or 60 degrees) and for printing on a High Quality printer or a simple FDM machine. The run down of each is thus: HQ is for high quality/high tolerance printers. FDM Flat, is the Switch Blade as a print in one unit laid out open with 0.5mm tolerances for the hinge pin and 0.5mm between the alternating hinges. FDM 1.75 is the Switch Blade as two separate parts, L and R with a hinge bore of 2.3mm for a piece of 1.75mm filament to become the hinge pin. Then lastly FDM 2.85is the Switch Blade as two separate parts, L and R with a hinge bore of 3.2mm for a piece of 2.85mm filament to become the hinge pin.
