I needed to keep a Jute String Roll / Yarn safe from getting tangled (or loss) with an easy way to dispense. I looked around and couldn’t find something that will fit my needs specially that I had a cylindrical shaped roll, I utilized FaberUnserzeit customizable round box with threaded lid design found in thingiverse. I’ve added two extra things to it, a center rod to hold the roll in place within the cylinder while allowing it to roll out freely and a vertical opening in one side to help in dispensing the string when needed. I’ve also designed a small lock to hold the pull string in place (at top or bottom) when not in use, that also can double as a guide if you need it. Dimensions: The cylinder radius is 100mm and its 183mm high without the led-on top. The Led is 13mm high. The lock is 16mm wide x 7mm depth x 10mm high Note about the lock: If the lock is not holding in place the way it should you can scale it up or down as needed it a small print and you should not have problem reprinting it as needed. Use the middle of the opining in the cylinder to push the lock in, it should be easy after that to slide it upward or downward as needed.
