Sculpture about 2 meters high (origin and artist are researched) in sandstone, located near the roundabout of "Héliante" in Biarritz. This sculpture is planted in the middle of a small body of water with fountain. It tells the legend of the biarrots, who, returning from the whale-less and discouraged whale fishing, were attracted by magnificent sirens huddled in the natural cave of the pierced rock, said Roche Ronde. They were in fact creatures of the demon . The captain obtained from God that these fishermen would not be precipitated into the eternal flames, would preserve life but would be transformed into cormorants. Since then, a colony of these birds lives and will live on this rock until the end of time.
