Calvin and Hobbes! What a great comic! Waterson’s classic creation brought so many smiles to me as a child. Only in reading them to my own children did I realize that the real heroes are Calvin’s parents, who somehow manage to keep him alive! I’ve bought the complete collection a couple of times as my kids have basically learned to read from them and they have learned to love reading in the process.I deeply admire Waterson’s commitment to the purity of the work. There are no licensed sweatshirts, action figures, coffee mugs, or stuffed tigers for sale that would cheapen the comics. Because of that, we fans will have to make our own, individually, intended only to bring joy to our homes and offices, and to inspire yet another readthrough of the comics. Hope you all enjoy this free model! It's sized to print out so that the Log is 6 inches long and would be perfect for a book nook diorama!
