About this 3D model

The Christchurch Cathedral in New Zealand is an iconic symbol of the city. The 2011 and subsequent earthquakes however proved too great for the Gothic Revival styled stone Cathedral. The coaster presented here takes inspiration from the Cathedral's cinquefoils and 2D profiles which adorn the arches and rose window. The coaster pictured was printed through the online platform Shapeways in their strong and flexible plastic material.
