About this 3D model

This beautiful ring is approximately 1.5mm thick by 5mm wide. A map from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter was used to wrap 360 degrees around this ring, giving it a crater like appearance which is accurate to a section of the moon. Made in one of the precious metals the ring has lasting strength and durability. The pictured print was done through Shapeways.
