About this 3D model
Summary This is a bigger scraper for removing cuttings from your CriCut mats after a project has been sent through your printer. It has a 100 mm long blade. The corners are not rounded like the original scraper that comes with the printer. This means the corners are sharp and they can be a challenge to keep them down on the bed during printing. Mine had a little warping on the corners, but it still works just fine. Print Settings Printer Brand: Monoprice Printer: Maker Select Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .15 Infill: 50% Filament: Hatchbox or Amazon PLA Notes: Sliced with Ultimaker Cura 3.6.0. I printed mine at the settings listed, but I am sure that you can reduce fill or change the resolution without too much loss of strength. Print this model with the bottom of the blade flat on your bed. When printing with supports on this model I used support roof to help them release in post processing easily while leaving a decent surface. Post-Printing How I Designed This This design was born to help my wife clean off her mats for her CriCut printer while she was doing loads of Xmas cards this year. I based the edge/blade on the angle of the original scraper that comes with the printer.
