About this 3D model
This partial group, composed of two cows and two seated men (missing), can be related to a monumental fountain (which the ancient sources called Lacus Pastorum) dating back to the Augustan Age. The Lacus Pastorum was a fountain in Region III (Not. Cur.), probably south of the thermae Traianae and east of the Colosseum (Jord. ii. 119; HJ 319 and literature cited there).
