The plastic spacer that sits between the brake pedal arm and the brake light switch fell apart in my daughter's i30 (GD series), leaving the brake light switch permanently activated and the brake lights always on, so I modelled a replacement. I printed it in PC for durability, but PETG, ABS or ASA should also be fine. It needs to withstand the heat of the inside of a car on a hot day, so PLA may not be suitable. No tools are needed to install it. You just push the brake switch pin up (it has a spring to push it back down) and drop the spacer into place in the top of the brake pedal arm, beneath the brake switch pin. You may need to remove any remnants of the old spacer first. If you have an i30 or Elantra then print one of these and keep it as a spare in the glovebox. You may need it one day!
