" Beset on all sides, with their homes mere breaths away from being destroyed, the Second Empire stands to protect humanity and their families. The old empire began to succumb to corruption, civil wars, and the rulings of tyrants. The Laurel Worlds seceded and formed the Second Empire, seeking to right the wrongs of the recent years. All corrupted officials within them were executed, and the council was formed to forever enforce the honest ruling. Sovereignty has been theirs for over a century and fourteen years, with two hundred planets all loyal to this new empire. The ruling council sees representatives from all their worlds and has managed a haven for mankind to prosper, even whilst millions die on the front lines for it.
