This is a custom crossover holder for the Polk Audio SDA-1C speaker. Advantages: Allows the crossover to be taken off the bass inductor. A larger inductor can now be mounted independently of the crossover. Crossover is mounted to bracket upside down . This allows the larger capacitors for an upgrade to be mounted on both sides of the board. This makes it a lot easier to upgrade components. The adapter may be mounted on either the walls or the base of the interior.
