About this 3D model

This bas-relief comes from the old Christian Church of Castelseprio, Italy, near Milan. The figure of the lion is very meaningful in Christianity: it is often used to refer to God but also to the Christ. Its features of strength, fearlessness, protection but also their destructive power give them both a positive and fearsome aspect.
