Many believe he cannot possibly be real, too ancient even by the standards of the Starborn Ancients, and so legends spread claiming that the name is merely a mantle worn by many warriors, each replacing the last, or that whenever one Prime dies another takes his place beneath the same identity. But the truth is far simpler and far more terrifying. Praetorii Prime truly exists, an ancient warrior who witnessed the dawn of the war against the ancient gods and the great cosmic evil, the creator of an empire who lived long enough to see its rise, its fall, and the destruction of nearly everything he once loved. After losing his people, his worlds, and all hope, he did not break, he hardened to such a degree that he transformed war itself into a perfect philosophy. It was Praetorii Prime who created the great warrior cult after realizing a simple truth, for his people there was no path left except the path of war.
