Coftyran AK30dMounted in exposed positions atop The Wall, the AK30d was developed to engage hostile kites before they could range freely into Coftyr proper. The weapon consists of a compact 30mm autocannon on a pedestal mounting with stabilizing legs, worked by a crew of three: layer, loader, and spotter. Ammunition is fed from a 48-round drum fitted to the receiver, while a separate optical sight on a light tripod allows the spotter to track aerial targets independently of the gun body. Though designed for anti-kite work, the weapon has also proved effective against surface targets.
