Everything in this character may remind us of Praxiteles's work. He was one of the most famous sculptors of his time: he was the first to produce full size nude statues of women. Here, his style is visible through the smooth muscles or the androgynous aspect of both the face and body However the subject and the childish features of the character still indicate the Greek-influenced Roman style.
