About this 3D model

Anton Starkopf sculpted many female subjects. They are always depicted with round shapes, often considered a symbol of fecundity or maternity, and sometimes those aspects are pushed even further with the representation of a child. Here, the baby is obviously not the main subject: he is a mean to magnify the feminity of the character. Carrying the child shapes the woman's body and posture, underlining her hips and movement.
