About this 3D model

This extremely high quality of this fascinating marble portrait enables attribution to the full artistic maturity of Verrocchio. With a more innovative choice of models than the usual busts, the sculptor has also included the arms of the subject portrayed, taking great care in creating her very sensitive hands holding hte bunch of flowers to her breast. The great all round precision, the careful rendering of the dress, the soft fabric which gently follows her contours, the painstaking chiselling of the hairstyle, the fine, rich modelling endowing the face with transparency, all make this sculpture a masterpiece. The identity of the woman still remains a mistery.
