I want a more heat resistant holder for my TS100 soldering iron and had the idea, to do it with a 608ZZ ball bearing. You need these items: Best: 608ZZ full metal or full ceramic ball bearing. 608-2RS with plastic caps and plastic spacer may also work, but it could melt. M3 screw 12mm or longer M3 spring or normal washer M3 nut Best: 45mm x 55mm soldering sponge in wet state. You can also use these ones and cut it to the right size, while it is wet.
