About this 3D model

This fossil shell, which is the Virginia State fossil, was 3D scanned at Chippokes Plantation State Park with a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. The green discoloration is a result of the scanning process. This fossile is an extinct form of scalloped that lived between three and eight million years ago.
