About this 3D model

This grave stele was found in Velanideza, Attica. It was placed on the grave of a hoplite, Aristion, whose name is inscribed above the relief. The dead is fully armed, wearing chitoniskos, cuirass, helmet and greaves, and holding in his left hand a spear. The bottom of the stele preserves the sculptor's signature: work of Aristokles. This is one of the most beautiful Attic grave steles.
